Sunday Morning Excitement

It was early Sunday morning when I was still asleep...when Tom and Brother Bryan and Dad spotted this moose right near our house! I thought that it was pretty cool, but not worth getting out of bed and waking up Micah. So I didn't see the moose, but Tom has the proof that it really was there. haha.

Our little get-a-way!

It is the middle of summer and we needed a little get-a-way. We were able to take a few days and spend some time in Las Vegas with some friends from Tennessee, who are really more like family than friends, and had a blast with them. It was a short visit, but still so good to see them! Tom's sister Alisa was able to come with us and we were so happy to have her. She was such a big help! It was so good to spend some time with her and the boys just really got to know her a little more. They love her so much.

We got to go and see Hoover Dam... that was pretty neat. They are building a new road to bypass driving over the dam. Tom loves to see things like that. He already watched it being built on the Discovery channel, but I know that he loved seeing it with his own eyes.









We were also able to spend a couple days in St. George. Alisa and I went shopping one day. We spent a little time in the pool and the sun, which was fun, but really hot! Tom and I were able to have a night out together (Thanks to Alisa), that doesn't happen that often. Over all we just had a good time. Every once in a while you just need to get-a-way!!!

Kolby is getting ready to start a little league soccer team and is so excited about it. Tom has been practicing with the boys and is going to be Kolby's soccer coach.

Baby Micah's Blessing

June 14, 2009, Micah R Winterton was given a name and a blessing. In his blessing some of the things that I can recall was that he was blessed to be healthy, a good brother and example, a good missionairy and he just told that he was such a special boy and a chosen spirit of our Heavenly Father. He has a great work to do here on this earth. We love our Micah!!


















Thanks to all of our family and friends for their love and support. We enjoyed the day so much.

Trip to Red Canyon

Tom takes me to Red Canyon Lodge every year for my birthday, just something that he did while we were dating and we have just continued the tradition. This year we ate at the lodge and then actually went on a little hike to see Red Canyon. Here are some pictures of the canyon. That really is a site to see!

Our Newest Addition to the Family...Gilbert!!

Or should we say Kevin's Baby... Kolby really loves Gilbert too, but the first thing Kevin does when he wakes up is go get his kitty.

Here are some more pictures of Micah. He is such a joy to have! Tom calls him Hollywood...becuase he is so good looking and very high maintenance. He has had a hard time catching up from being born early, but is finally putting on some weight.
