My Lovely Painting Assistant (Julie)
Julie helped me paint my dining room wall. We first painted it an awful color... and then we had to fix it. The color in this picture is the good color. Bless her heart... she stayed and helped me all day. Thanks Juls!!

Christmas Party with Tom's Family..
We had a great time at the Christmas party. We played a few of the little boys' favorite games. Including duck duck goose, and twister. I think the adults had more fun than the grandsons.

Kolby and Kevin get Snow Shovels!
Kolby told me the other day that he needed to help me shovel the snow. So I stopped and got them shovels. Kolby wakes up just about every morning and puts on his snow gear and goes out there to shovel the snow. It snowed all day today! I am sure there will plenty for him to do tommorow. He really is a big helper. Kevin likes to help too, he just doesn't last more than 2 minutes.

Kolby Meets Santa!
Kolby wants a beetle buggy for christmas. It is a big remote control car. When I asked him what santa said Kolby told me that santa said he would see what he could do. Christmas is so much more fun with little ones. As you can see, he is very intent and listening to what santa is saying.

"Something is in my nose!"
Today I was talking on the phone and putting in a load of laundry. As soon as I hung up the phone I hear Kolby saying "Something is in my nose! Something is in my nose!" lolololol,. the picture speaks for itself..

First Snowfall of the Season!
Wow.. it's snowing. Kolby has been waiting for it to snow ever since he watched the old classic Frosty the snowman. So, yes, he is so excited! But rather dissapointed that we aren't able to make a snowman. Kevin wants nothing to do with it. He just points outside and says 'cold'. I took him out while it was snowing and he pretty much held on to me for dear life and cried and said 'cold, cold'.

Smashed Finger = Sad Holidays for Missy
So I smashed my finger in our shower door!!!lol. The worst thing is that well (1) it is really tender (2) it is taking me forever to type and update this blog and (3) it is my bird finger.. it has been a week and it still throbs if I don't have it above my heart. lol and (4) I can't play the piano. This is my favorite time of the year to play and I love Christmas music. I guess there is always next year. But I have decided that sometimes things like this make us realize truly what our blessings are. I am also learning that one hand is really no good without the other. What a gift our hands are.

My children are so funny about the way that they dress. It really is a challenge to get them to wear anything I want them to. About the only day they wear what I want is Sunday (they don't have a choice). So I just thought that I would post some pics of the random outfits they come up with.
Kolby wants to dress like it is the middle of summer, no matter what time of year or how cold. He even wears his shorts under his pants if I make him wear jeans. haha. He also loves his hats.. in this picture he has one of uncle Luke's hat's on.
Kevin is happy as long as he looks like Kolby. There are several mornings I find Kevin in Kolby's closet just helping himself. He wants to be just like big brother (notice the boots are about 5 sizes too big!) he also has to have the accessories.

Making Sugar Cookies
Kolby and Kevin had fun making sugar cookies at grandma's house. Needless to say, they didn't last very long!

Playing catch up...

Well, since September not much has happened...just kidding. Lets see.. halloween, which I really don't like so I am not posting anything on that. Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Ross and Jamie were here and it was so good to see them, along with the rest of the family. My favorite part was just the extreme mess that all the boys were able to make in grandma's house. lol. Grandpa and Hailey took the boys for a horse ride. Kevin was in heaven. He loves animals, but mostly horses and cows. I believe that cow was about his second word that he learned, the first being dad. We did make some great memories.
