Christmas 2009

We had such a great Christmas this year.

Kolby is 5, Kevin is 3, and Micah is 10 months.
The boys got spoiled with small 4-wheelers from Santa. They really are going to enjoy those this summer. We had a relaxing christmas season this year and feel so blessed.

Grandma Laura has a tradition of getting the boys pajamas for Christmas Eve. I loved Micahs. Especailly the Toot, Toot.!

Tom was excited about his shotgun this year.

Many Reasons to Give Thanks

Thanksgiving day this year has been a humbling day. Thinking there are so many reasons to give thanks and I have so many blessings to count. I have 3 beautiful healthy children, a wonderful husband who treats me so good..(and he is sooo good lookin'). MOM and DAD. They raised me right and taught me to be a good person who has values and morals. (I am sure I was one of their biggest challenges in life.):) So grateful for health and strength. Grateful for the blessing of womanhood and to have children. Loving grandparents who are all role models to me in some way. Sisters. (what more can I say?) A wild hunting, fishing, best uncle in the world red headed brother who yes, is growing up and learning to be responsible and a hardworker. yay! The gift I have been given of Music and for my hands. Sugar cookies. The blessings of the Temple. A beautiful home to raise my family. Utah and the Uintah Basin. Tennessee and the experiences that we had there. Friends, who have become family. Wonderful in-laws who have welcomed me into their family and been so good to me (All 90 or so of them). Most of all my Savior who lived a perfect life and was the perfect example who lived and died for me so that I might live again someday and return to be with my Father in Heaven for eternity.

There are so many more reasons to be grateful this day, but these are among the most important in my life.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with the Winterton family.

Halloween

Kolby had a halloween party at his preschool. I decided that we were just going to have a little family party and not really celebrate or go trick or treating. So this was the only dressing up we were going to do. Kolby was excited to be Spiderman and was a good sport waking up early to put the makeup on his face. As soon as he got home from school he had decided that dressing up was not that much fun. lol. Kevin hated his pumkin costume and only lasted about 2 minutes in it. I am really ok that they don't like to dress up. Halloween is my least favorite holiday.

Watch me grow!

7 months and crawling!

A little pouty face about being in his seat watching Kolbys soccer game

8 Months and cute as can be!

9 Months, pulling himself up to things, ready to start walking.

Relaxing Fall Afternoon

We were just going for a walk today to enjoy eachother's company and take in the fall colors.

Fall Soccer

Kolby just bearly made the deadline to be able to play soccer this year. He was really lucky to have his cousin Mason on his team and also to have Tom for a coach. We had a lot of fun going to the park twice a week and enjoying the sunshine and watching the cute little soccer players.

Our Great Grandpa Larry and Grandma Paula

I just have to put a post in here about my Grandparents. They reside in Wichita Kansas and therefore; we don't see them that often. When we get to see them we always make the most wonderful memories. I have to say that they are some of the best people in the world. When Tommy met Grandma Paula for the first time he said that he fell in love with her. And that she was one of the kindest people he has ever met. I honestly have to say that I haven't ever heard Grandma say a bad word about anyone. She is such a role model for me. There has to be opposition in all things right?? so Grandpa..well...haha just kidding. I love him dearly. He has a really special place in my heart, they both do. Grandpa has always been a big tease. I love to beat him in card games. He has got a temper and a red face to go with it!!

Here are a few of pictures of them with my chilren. (I could not believe that Grandpa got on the trampoline and played with the boys. We got a trampoline for Christmas and the boys have mentioned several times how they are going to beat up Grandpa Larry next time he comes to Utah!)
